Anger whispers when I don’t get what I want

When I rest I let go.

They still suffer

It’s hard to think or use my voice

The scars are deep but no excuse

So change the things that we expect

Say: I get defensive when I know I’m wrong

Tremble in the face of fear.

In the throat of danger

Identify the eminent.

Recall the past and live again

Find the motion and use my mind

My heart is blind but my eyes can tell

Now live as each new day is your last

Guilt is me who I will violate, and taught to feel

Question that which educate.

Pay back if I repeat the ways

Find the strength and test my soul

The ways are mine to embrace or abandon

A man is only what a man will hold
