This is the sound of war- what has it all been good for?

We hear the sound of death;

we witness the last breath:

Of some stranger dying, on a distant shore

This is the sound of war- can anyone tell where we’re headed for?

I’d like to fight for the cause of humanity

But what is human, seems different for you and for me

So I close myself off in my own little world

Uphold compassion around me;

War must die within each one:

A change of heart is the only way to start

Understanding we all should be free

I heard the sound of war today- why don’t you watch what you say?

This decaying attitude: fascist, racist, and child abuse-

What kind of world do you create?

And is it really your element

To destroy and hate?
