I know you’re not bound to like this

'cause I had a few of you in mind when I started to write this

Dunno what the difference between wrong and right is

So I’ll keep writing 'til I got arthritis

Got a lot on my plate, this ain’t what I ordered

So take it back, I hate the fact

Money talks, talk is cheap, this must be why I’m skint

But I think it’s kinda funny 'cause I need money to buy my things

These days we’re taught not to get caught up in the hype

Yet TVs broadcast these stars every night

And we’re sat there, lapping it up

Inspired by the glamour and buzz and everything the camera does

So many people give up, you go insane as an artist

So many people quit and they ain’t even started

Modern day slaves, we fiend for some freedom

Open your eyes, you’ll see we dream for a reason

The path is rough but yo, you can’t give up

You’re a fighter, make sure your guard is up

Protect your corner, by any means necessary

You don’t have to die to become legendary

I know it’s upsetting when it gets slow

Know the highs are so far from the lows

Know it’s hard to stay strong

But you gotta carry on
