Mood swings and bad dreams

Cold shadow, bone marrow

Numb skin, adult swim

How does this just come to be the deep end

Just won’t comply, calliope she drifts out to sea

And this shallow water covers me

Sun dial, fake smile

Ship wrecking, name checking

It’s coming, this tsunami

Foreshadowed in my memoir

Light flickers, sea sicker

Storm brewing and I’m sinking

Her signal is my slipping

Her liquid, my failing
