I see the light this summer dawn

I am alive, and I am newborn

I am afraid the world is new

I do not know what I must try to do

But I will try to find my way

For today, it is my first day

The seasons come, the seasons go

We face the world when new and so we grow

The bite of spring and summer sun

As autumn fades and winter comes again

This is the land, the land we love

Under the endless sky above

One flower blooms and fades away

Beyond this leave, we have no time to stew

From mountains sloughs to water runs

From forest hills into the desert sands

And so it goes from me to you

Across the land from far and in

But the still the song of life goes on
