I had a girl and I wanted to love her

But love wasn’t a word that I threw around

So all of my feelings I kept to myself

Knowing my silence was letting her down

I’m haunted by that day

I just hope I can win her back in time

Learning to listen I thought that I did

I’m facing the truth as hard as it is

She may be gone and there’s

No one to blame

My lame excuses can run with the pain
