You were so impatient

I could never take it

No alleviation

So inebriated

Woke in a basement

Eyes were dilated

I would try to fake it

In black seas beneath my eyes

Terrors in the night

Bad dreams I can’t describe

For fear that they would rise and manifest themselves

A dying man whose left for hell to find

I grieve him every time

Thirty five years later

ICU inpatient

Hooked to respirators

They can hardly take it

I’m debilitated

I’m the source of hatred

I’m the one who made their

(lives this way)

Twisted kinda fate that

I would find the same

(demise and decay)

Into someone that nobody knew

A nightmare I fear will come true

Terrors in the night

Horrible screams at the bottom of seas in you eyes

Terrible scenes that repent any beacons of light

Memories beaten to death by the demons inside

It’s sink or survive
