We are leaving for rock run

Weekend’s just begun

And we are gathered in the car

Antique stores and river homes

Stretch along the water

And they point to where we go

It’s my first time up to the north

And though the day is short

We make our plan into the night

Swimming holes and radios

That only gets the station

That the mountain range lets in
