Unease - Dead End Path

apprehension has married me

but i won’t let that burden bury me

i’ll throw it’s ring away

i’m throwing past ashes out to sea

and i’m fine with that

i didn’t ask for your sacraments

i’ll make penance with me

by throwing all my ashes out to sea

it’s just blind leading the blind

no more light in my eyes

would i sell my soul

for a better life?

routine like a noose

around my neck

i did it all

to protect myself

doubt has married me

but i wont let that unease bury me
