Stories to tell, an empty page to fill

With a sketch tonight.

Words of the fate, a girl and boy the same

And a stich to bind.

Then she felt the need to go,

To chase her shadows.

Made another dream to see,

For someone to follow.

And now the ocean that spreads between us.

Is not enough to bridge the spaces between us.

We keep the secrets but the answers I keep

‘Cause someday, someday.

You know what those voices mean in the night.

Don’t you trust the blind.

You might resurrect late in your mind.

When she reveals the face,

Of the truth that seems stranger than a tale.

And I have tried,

To sacrifice, another day, bled in the night.

High in hopes, left bruised and stoned

My imprisoned soul cries for a freedom.

As the shores of ocean crushes the waves of hopes.

As the weight of burden crushes the weaker bones.

Don’t disappoint.

I need you to know.

There are no lines to separate a friend or a foe.
