Its the past that builds theses walls

We let imprison us through time

As we accept the cold comfort grows

The pain hides the key in our mind

Walking through these endless paths

A snake eating itself alive

Thrown a rope we ignore the thread

Will the blood on our hands ever dry?

Safe in the dark

Afraid of the unknown

Losing it all

To a place without walls

Confined mind

The fear of the other side

The architect of my own demise

Over and over I see the eyes

Of the lost without a path

Disconnected from the web

Their broken threads went astray

Walking away from the hell I create

Towards the key hidden in plain sight

I can no longer live this way

My essence is not bound to the labyrinth
