Time has a way of leveling mountains

Raising sea beds to the sky

And when the dust has finally settled

The earth will heave a laden sigh

A final moment of perfect stillness

Unseen by any man’s eye

Where the veil is finally lifted

I am here to testify

Time has a way of ending all wars

Testing false witnesses, now laid to rest

In the end be no winners and losers

Corpses rot, by the sun they’ll be blessed
