like a wounded child

no need to stop you now

you’re tail’s straight between your

legs that are failing you now

while others struggle to maintain content to suffer

as we move on

from the past our grave concessions will weight heavy on our hearts

we seek the truth

will the hardened

kindly place their scowls

a justified recourse

convenient half-truths

can you swallow

being left behind

a twisted photograph, doctored and leak i’m fine
