Everybody knows

That you can’t fly from the tree tops

Everybody knows

But I still try so I might drop

And when I look back

I won’t regret spreading my wings

Though I might crash like a stone to the ground

But on my way down

I was flying for a while

But I still try and maybe later

I’ll be gasping for air

To pull treasures from an ocean of sound
