Those were your words

That was your last breathe

That I had heard

You went into the sky that day

But I always knew you would be ok

Staring into the unknown

Knowing you’re staring back

Maybe not right into my eyes

But the stars surrounded by black

Across what seems forever

Yet just a call away

This never-ending mourning

Storing all the things I’ll say

And you’re becoming more to me

All of the time

But then I guess that’s all I have

To look forward to is time

And thinking of how we could be

And hoping that Tuesday you will see
