Now they call me an MC

Master of ceremonies

But time is the master

Because time will turn all this to a memory

And I don’t think I’m built for the industry

All the fake smiles and laughter

Make me want to turn into a mystery

I preferred being a grafter

First time I’ve felt secure in all twenty-five years
