Consecrated, death on hallowed ground

Once returned back to the earth.

There’s no damnation, the soul has been released

A funeral pyre ignites, burning so bright.

A light in the the darkness beacons me home.

Chaos is calling, fire burns cold.

A desecration, to disrespect the dead

But dead is dead, rotting away

An empty vestal, it’s wounds will never heal

The soul has passed through the window…
