This time it’s coming for me

Diving into myself

Once again I deny the signs I see

Guilt staring through me

Shadows lurking in my soul

Mirror reflections twisted

Silence my only comfort

Rumbling outside

Shattered windows fall

To the ground like tears from the sky

And something whispers my name

I cannot sit and watch

As the world dies

Shadows are taking over
