It’s snowin outside

I raised the blinds so I could see

Exactly how the snow falls in Florence

Without thinking I drew an arrow on the window

Fingertips to the frost

Beneath it just one word

I wrote «stay», say you’ll stay with me

The leaves that once shivered on the trees

Have fallen and gone to wherever it is they go

When they leave

Tsunamis, cyclones, hurricanes
