Stand here aside me

We’ll watch the raindrops dance

Out from the ocean

A black sphere of emptiness is

Rising above us

Blocking out the sun

Vast mass of water

Rising high and growing ever larger

Out in the darkness

Ever floating still

Those who get mixed in

Diabolical spinning

Changes who you are

The black space is a dead end

Spiralling fast it wants to thrive

The Vortex never came here

But still we fear the same

One by one we get sucked in

Nation by nation

Living on the face of earth

The ones who have the power

Created the vortex

To make them large in numbers

The holy inner circle

Of power craving minds
