Ever since my life began it’s always been a bore

Nothing ever happens much to me

Always needed something else, that certain something more

Who can tell me what that thing would be?

If only I could find a way of changing what I am

Maybe that’s what I need to know?

But would it go and complicate some vast eternal plan

To re-direct the way I want to go?
