First conversation of the day

Realize there’s nothing left to say

We all fall elpase from the strengths of our convictions

to the point where negativity meets our contradictions

A fate I tried to hide away

A trait that my face can’t bare to frame

A rain fine but laced with a hate that’s hard to taste

Tried to place the point in time but lost the rhythm to the rhyme

But then I fell

hoping that you missed it

Giving up a thought I just dismissed it

A wish list is drawn and acted on almost wholeheartedly

restarting the disease suffered by those who master artistry

The laugh the mast that slips under the strain

like points underneath derailing tains

A mark that’s unremovable

the scars school the stupid fool

the dreams of growing up through deepest darkest youth

But grew, to something so reflective

Could see yoruself and all you neglected

The less is more it’s easier to ignore

I’ll fall asleep and snore throughout the loudest lion’s roars

But just before, our loves become our chores

The only battles fought to settle scores

We start to sow the seed that lead the audience to leave

We feed them to the roads and watch them stagger as they go

So, I’m singing just for you

Each night could be the last

so thanks for passing through

You know I wouldn’t change a thing

and all it takes is just one look

Last words are uttered in dismay

All parties turn to walk away

Strange to think now

all feelings dulled by pain

A sure shot I threw but somehow missed

A vision that was crystal clouded with a mist

a hand waved it away from comfort zones to just dismiss

The list of wishes lost with nothing crossed

Too many times the hand spun roundthe clock

The ragged rascal ran around the clock

fell, lost the plot

tongue tied, rhythms stopped

fried and tied in knots

Forgot just how to walk the block

The sum of life’s excuses changes what?

Our skin was briefly touched

paths were swiftly crossed

Ships that simply pass because the rowing can’t be stopped
